Our Approach to Psychological Well-being
Our Approach to Psychological Well-being
The Counsellor, Sucheta, brings professional experience from both the United Kingdom and India, offering a cross-cultural understanding of psychological well-being, emotional distress, family dynamics, individual differences, communication difficulties, adolescent concerns, complex mental health needs and the importance of adapting therapy to the person rather than applying a single approach to every client.
Our Core Values and Ethical Commitment
At the heart of our practice is a simple belief: meaningful therapy begins with trust.
Our values are grounded in Respect, Competence, Responsibility, and Integrity. These principles guide how we build therapeutic relationships, protect confidentiality, maintain professional boundaries, and support each client with care, honesty, and responsibility.

True composure is not about escaping life, but developing the quiet capacity to meet it with absolute clarity.
Our practice is built on the belief that clinical rigor and mindful presence are not opposing forces, but collaborative partners in psychological restoration.

Counsellor and Wellbeing Practitioner
Sucheta Lad
If you’re feeling overwhelmed during a difficult period, please know that you are not alone. Reaching out for support is a powerful act of self-care. I'm a professionally trained counsellor working with individuals facing stress, anxiety, low mood, identity and relationship concerns, as well as those looking to strengthen academic or workplace performance.
My approach is integrative and personalised — drawing on Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Attachment-Based, and Person-Centred foundations, alongside psychological practices such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, as well as mindfulness-based approaches (MBSR, MBCT, MBRP). Together, we'll explore your story at your own pace, uncover patterns, and build practical strategies for lasting change.
I hold an MSc in Psychology (UK) and the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), both of which are approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS). I have also completed the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CPCAB) and training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In addition, I am a 300-hour Certified Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork (Pranayama), and Yoga Nidra Teacher, with teaching experience in both the UK and India. My experience spans mental health services, education, disability support, sexual health counselling, and holistic wellbeing — with sessions available in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
I'm here to walk alongside you with compassion, helping you build on your strengths and move toward a healthier, more meaningful life.
